Mercedes Unimog U1350L ex belgian military in like new condition, year 1998
At first view this vehicle is identical to the German U1300L but technically speaking it is 15-20 years younger and is full of nice improvements. In fact all the things that most of the U1300L drivers wish for are standard on these trucks.
- Engine OM366LA turbo intercooled EURO 2 emissions. Here the engine output is set at 136 hp but 240 hp is possible without major modifications. The engine has a much higher torque (which is also available at low rpms) so that much less shifting is required.
- Reinforced UG3/65 gearbox with stronger clutch
- Stronger split axles (dingo axles with fast axle ratio (92 kmh at 2600 rpm with std 12.5 x 20 tires)
- Heavy duty springs for max weight of 8500 kg
- Front and rear stabilisors
- Reinforced chassis
- Reinforced steering box LS6
- Max trailer weight: 16000 kg
- New dashboard, better soundproofing
And all of this in 'as good as new' condition with only 17400 original kilometers. Vehicle was always stored inside and has never been in active service. Originally there was a radioshelter mounted on the pritsche which was removed before the truck was released.
The Unimog comes without spare wheel.
